Nordic LIVE-Lab: Contracting

LIVE-Lab is a new format across EMCC in Scandinavia where we come together to observe, reflect and learn from our practice.

The purpose is to create an experimental space where, through short presentations and demonstrations, we explore the work we all care so deeply about.

The first LIVE-Lab will be facilitated by Mariann Nagatsu (EMCC Finland) and Jacob Sønderskov (EMCC Denmark). In broad terms, you can expect:

• Building an understanding of contracting
• Demonstrations – how can contracting look like and what impact does it have?
• Reflecting on our own contracting style – what we lean on and what we might want to explore further

Throughout the session, there will be plenty of opportunities for dialogue and shared reflections across participants.

Facilitators:

Mariann Nagatsu. I’m a leadership coach who likes to mix & match, twist & turn, and invite leaders, teams and fellow travellers into exploration. With a background in experiential methods, leadership development, and an MSc in Psychology, I bring both adventure and reflective depth to the learning process. I’m certified as a Solution-Focused Organisational Coach, accredited as an EMCC Senior Practitioner, and an active member of EMCC Finland. I run my own coaching practice and am a co-founder of Coaching for Scientists.

Jacob Sønderskov. I build dialogical and relational capacity with people and organizations as a facilitator, trainer and designer of organizational and leadership development. I have been working with coaching since 2006 and see our purpose as being able to facilitate the dialogue that people, organizations and the world need with a strong focus on “not being perfect but always be reflecting”. I hold a Master Practitioner EIA, am an accredited supervisor (ESIA) and am currently the President of EMCC Denmark.
